I'm an Auntie....twice!!

My sister in Australia had her baby twins today! I've been able to speak to her on her phone in the hospital and her father-in-law emailed some digital photos which I was very excited to see.  Only 45 days til I can go and see her and my niecelets - the countdown starts now!

Yeah, she sounded pretty tired when I spoke to her! The babies are in the nursery - they had a bit of fluid in their lungs so they're being observed overnight but apparently that's quite common, especially as twins tend to be on the small side. The nappy one of them is wearing in the photo I saw is *enormous* - a real 'does my bum look big in this?' moment! Although she was kind of sad that they wouldn't be with her at least it means she'll be able to get a bit of much needed sleep.
