Jan. 24th, 2008 09:41 pmI’m not generally a loyal listener to any particular radio station when I drive and this morning, when I was flicking through the radio channels to see what was on, I heard the due South theme! It was being played as part of a TV theme quiz on a local station and the dj gave a clue that this was “a 90’s cuddly TV series from the States”. I rolled my metaphorical eyes – I needed to keep my actual eyes on the road – and then he went straight to an ad break which started appropriately enough with “Are you looking for romance?” It made me smile despite the traffic jam.

Ha! At least they can claim ignorance as an excuse. I watched a "Canadian Writers in Hollywood" doc on E! and when they talked about Paul Haggis the description was: "This writer from Ontario wrote for hit TV shows in the 1970s and 1980s, and then went on to write the screenplay for Million Dollar Baby. "The sad thing is, the doc was produced in Canada. No mention of our only successful TV export to the US.
