Kidfic

Benton had taught Ray how to plait Isabelle’s hair using her doll. He missed watching Ray’s agile hands at work once she could do it herself....but hoped for grand-daughters.

None of the usual bitching about wolf hair on the seats tonight – Ray was too pleased at having the GTO back. Fraser was just pleased to have the wolf.

I’ve spent the last three nights sitting here, listening to the beep of the monitors and Ray’s murmurs of ‘Stella’. Today though, he opened his eyes. Smiled. Said ‘Ben’.
